Let’s create a drug-free nation.
Drug addiction has been a persistent issue in our nation for a while and it is time to take a proactive approach toward creating a drug-free nation, where individuals are free from the destructive effects of drug addiction and where there is no drug-related violence or crime. While creating a drug-free nation may seem like a daunting task, it is not impossible.
Who Will You Learn With?

Prevention
The first step towards creating a drug-free nation is prevention. It is essential to educate individuals, particularly young people, about the dangers of drug abuse and addiction.
Oxford Lanka Pvt Ltd has commenced this initiative to prevent future generations of Sri Lanka from becoming addicted to drugs. The local community is educated about drug addiction through the conducting of awareness programs, free of charge, using schools, religious establishments, police stations, and community service organizations as the central contact points. All districts in Sri Lanka are covered by representatives to ensure all communities are made aware of the dangers of drugs.
Treatment
For individuals who are already struggling with drug addiction, access to effective treatment is essential. Treatment programs can range from outpatient counseling and psychotherapy it is essential to provide a range of options to cater to individual needs. It is also crucial to remove the stigma associated with addiction, as this can prevent individuals from seeking help.

Community involvement
Creating a drug-free nation requires the involvement of the entire community. This can include businesses, schools, faith-based organizations, and other community groups. By working together towards a common goal, individuals can make a positive impact on their communities and create a safer, healthier environment for all.

Psychotherapists and Speech therapists. An annual award ceremony is held to recognize the exceptional services rendered by individual officers of the police and armed forces. Their genuine and honest dedication of time, labor, and knowledge is highly appreciated in the efforts to eradicate the use of drugs in Sri Lanka. In honor of their efforts, the children of these special individuals are granted educational scholarships of 100%.
